I'm done! Seriously, I've worked on this one for a month, and I'm exhausted! I'm damn proud of myself!
Anyway, it's my hottie-hero Michael Shanks from Stargate SG-1
This was drawn on the backside of an A4 sized watercolor paper sheet, with pencils
My eyes are burning and twitching, and my head's acting whoo-hoo And the hair! God, if I knew how hard that that would be to draw, I'd pick a different reference photo!
So, whattya guys think? Anything I should fix in this (other than the hair)?
Edit 12.03.09: I got this drawing back today, so I attempted to scan it properly, not sure if I managed Too bad you can't really see the details on his lips, as they are some of the things about this drawing I'm the most proud of Gah, it's still to bright, I'll see if I can do something about it, but not right now though... Edit 18.04.09: Okay, this is probably my last attempt at scanning it properly, and it's not even close... The texture of the paper shows way too much, but at least now the contrast in Shanks is more correct...
We love horses, we love drawing, we love gifts, AND we love Christmas. We're gonna combine all that to make Christmas 2009 on dA a seriously awesome one!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
